- Boehringer Ingelheim and the Diabetes Hands Foundation are running a diabetes patient video contest. Three weekly finalists were chosen from among the 3 minute videos submitted by adult diabetics.

Promoting Videos Online
Once you have completed your video production, there are a number of ways to promote it, such as:
- Posting the videos on the branded channel on YouTube
The video titles, descriptions, and tags can be rich with the keywords that will help Google direct students to the videos - Posting the videos on the branded Facebook & MySpace pages
- Announce the videos on the branded Twitter page
- Tag the videos on the site so Google can find and list them in a Google video search.
Be sure to create individual urls for each video.
Also the video filename and metadata should be keyword rich - Include a video sitemap to help Google find the videos

- Get listed on Brightcove
- Distribute to TubeMogul video distribution network

- Blog Outreach: send email to blogger influencers, inviting them to share the videos on their blogs (e.g. Boing Boing, The Huffington Post)
